Music recommendation Tori Kelly

Recently I have stumbled onto somebody's music covers of a variety of songs on you tube and I personally connected to them more than the original. I was very excited to see her release her own EP and if you are looking for a chilled acoustic song then definitively check Tori Kelly out!

My favourite, is her cover of Thinking about you by Frank Ocean and I listen to it on repeat, I think it is amazing and wish her all the success and luck in the world.

A short history of nearly everything by Bill Bryson

Firstly, lets talk about Bill Bryson as an author and in my opinion his writing has the ability to attract all readers that share a common interest in general science. That is the thing I love about him even though the book is based on science it is still digestible. Maybe it is his clever writing skills, because even when he goes in depth about the more difficult topics I never find it boring.

This book covers; the cosmos, the universe, there is discussion about the size of the universe, Einstein's theory of relativity, The big bang and much more. The beauty of a book like this is that all the chapters are linked to each other. However there is still a freedom to read the book in the order that interests you. That is definitely the way I read this book.

Thirdly, and the most beneficial factor of reading this book is the understanding of the universe that I now have and am able to share with the people around me. It is like a magic trick I use to spice up a boring conversation and tends to lead meaningful talks and a better understanding of the person I am conversing with. In my opinion, it is a book that every should read and not enough people realise the beauty that surrounds them and this book is something that showed me how to comprehend it all.

My favourite part of this book are chapters that cover the solar system, the universe and cosmos. This is because for me, looking at night sky at all the stars I feel two emotions simultaneously. I feel a part of a big meaning which makes my problems seem more manageable but at the same time I feel alone in the big space of nothing we live on. I think a lot of people feel the same and that is why small fact of estimations like the number of stars in the milky way (which is between hundred billion to four hundred billion) interests me, for it connects to a feeling I have.

Career Path

Ever since the last year of sixth form came to an end and all my friends have began their exciting adventure. I have been stuck and confused of which CAREER PATH I want to travel for the rest of my life. Maybe that's the dilemma, I am viewing this from the wrong vision lenses, perhaps this should be interpret differently. I shouldn't be banging my head against the wall desperately hoping for a career to fall out of my head, because the truth is I have intensively gone through all of them and, stuck up Sabreen has been fussy, forming up lame ass excuses. And to me, it's crazy, a career, such pharmacy or dentistry is some people's motivation in life. But that is why I am not the doctor and they are. But that is fine by me because I know the purpose of my existence is not to have the same impact on universe the way a doctor does. But I hope almost as significant.

It is hard to let destiny determine my life objectives when, I grew up with hardy any interests. Jheezz, I am boring teenager, but then again so is everyone in my generation. Only kidding. Maybe. Not really. But in all honesty during my adolescence I didn't start many passions to nurture then to allow to grow. Despite this, I have spent countless hours locked up in my bedroom (being a depressing teenager) going through albums after albums listening the punk, rock, hip hop, urban, pop. Miles Kane, Blink 182, Paul McCartney, Dire Straits, Notorious B.I.G, Kanye West, Eminem, Chris Brown. From music I have developed my personal style. And I definitely over-romanticise over music, secretly I like to watch people go on with their everyday life unaware of me peeking into their personal lives. But this experience is so much better when listening to music, it makes its so cinematic and look more artistic. Shh its a secret.

Don't worry by the way, I have develop some interest in the past year so I am no longer a boring teenager. I like to keep an active lifestyle and attend the gym ever other day. Also experimenting with new healthy recipes is always a blast (THAT IS A LIE!). But I do believe keeping a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE is more important than people recognise it to be.

So the message I send out today is that, it's insane to devote an entire life accomplishing a career only for the money which doesn't shape you to become a better person. You only get one shot in life and to spend 80% of it working is precious time wasted. So do something that matters to you and don't forget to have fun along the way.To be honest I don't know what career I want, but I do know that I don't have any intention of going uni, which brings me a step closer to fate. Apprenticeship sounds like a good idea and I definitely want to give them a go.

Hair to recovery

Dear reader

I have a confession to make, I straighten my hair almost everyday and the worst part is that I don't use any heat protection. But I cant stop myself, no matter how much I try I will always straighten my hair especially my fringe and baby hair. I was cursed with intense curls, that I try hard to get rid of it.

Anyways, around April time my hair from the ends to the root were dead, weak and fragile. I couldn't wear it in a pony tail or any other hairstyle, that would make my weak hair noticeable. It wasn't till this point, I had realised how horrible I was treating my hair and I cut back. Now, new hair is growing and I have chopped of most of my dead hair and I am on track for hair recovery.

But I can't deny there were products that helped me get there

Argan oil of morocco by Organix

It is a universal knowledge that argan oil is really good, and truth is that that is a true statement. This product has done wonders to my hair, it feels so much more soft and silky. The best part is that you don't need too much. Just a pea size goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this even if your hair isn't damage. I also found straightening my hair after using this product made my hair look nourish and rich. I can't guarantee for all hair types because it might just make others look more greasy. But if you have a non-greasy hair type then I would recommend using this before straightening.

Intense hydrating mask by Moroccanoil

This item was great for a nice pampering evening for my hair, whenever I had a big event and I wanted my hair to healthier than usual. I would use this product and it would work wonders. In all honesty, I don't have many pampering evening because I go to the gym so often and use their showers. Hence, I rarely shower at home but when I do. I always grab this.

Heat styling spray by Loreal

When I did straighten my hair I used this. To be honest I wasn't the biggest fan of this item simply because it awkward to apply around the back of my hair. But other than that it did the job.
